THE EXPLOSIVE is a premium and cutting-edge multifilament tennis string that closely reproduces the effortless explosiveness of natural gut. It has a medium gauge that maximizes the sensations, absorption, and natural dynamism of the strings through its synthetic composition that approaches the very elastic organic properties. It will suit all types of players of all levels of play, however its more expensive cost may lead to recommending it primarily to good regular club players including children and seniors (8 to +55 years old) but also regular adults and competitors looking for much better sensations, softness and maximum easy power.

For Which Player/Game?

THE EXPLOSIVE will suit any versatile and offensive playing style (Attacker, baseliner, server-volleyer) and any type of technique and mechanical gesture (classic tennis, modern tennis and "next-gen" tennis) who wants to develop maximum explosiveness and ball length effortlessly in their game while benefiting from the qualities of natural gut in a synthetic version that is more resistant to breakage and more affordable.

For What Level of Play?

The EXPLOSIVE multifilament tennis string is very similar and more affordable than natural gut, however it remains expensive and it is possible that recreational and beginner players will not distinguish the difference with another versatile multifilament string.

We therefore tend to recommend it primarily to competition players (from the end of the 4th French series / UTR 4.5 min.). Recreational, occasional and beginner players can turn to a more economical multifilament tennis string like THE UNIVERSAL. However, the higher the level of play, the more we tend to recommend to competitive players who want to benefit from the sensations of natural gut to play it in hybrid string to balance and bring an extra power and easy sensations to a more demanding monofilament string!

Contributions to the Game:

The EXPLOSIVE reproduces as closely as possible by its chemical and technical composition the organic elasticity of the natural gut tennis string and brings just as much comfort and absorption, but above all a great ease to effortlessly generate ball length and a lot of speed due to an extended impact time by its synthetic elasticity (maximum trampoline effect).

Unlike organic natural gut, it will have a better resistance to breakage on the surface and a slightly lower tension hold but can now be played as well in full as in hybrid tennis string!
